Privacy policy

Data controller

The controller is Filippo Baglini, Pisa, Italy, reachable at info@progettoolanda.it.

What we collect

Without an account, no personal data is collected. The site sets no cookies and has no analytics, no profiling and no advertising.

If you create an account

• Email address and username, given by you at registration.
• Password, handled by the authentication service and stored only in hashed form: the controller cannot read it.
• Favourite leagues, if you set them.
• Profile picture, if you upload one. Note that profile pictures are held in a public bucket and can be viewed by anyone who knows the URL.
• Saved slips: the selections, the odds, the stake, the outcome and the date. You save these explicitly; nothing is recorded automatically.

Technical data

The hosting providers log IP addresses and the requests they receive, in order to run the service and protect it from abuse.

Data that stays on your device

Language, model settings and display preferences are kept in your browser's localStorage. They are never sent to us, and you can remove them by clearing the site's data in your browser.

Why we process it

• To provide the account and saved slips — performance of a contract, GDPR art. 6(1)(b).
• To run and protect the site — legitimate interest, GDPR art. 6(1)(f).

We do not profile users, take automated decisions about people, or sell or pass data to third parties for advertising.

Who processes data on our behalf

• Supabase — authentication and database, on infrastructure in the European Union.
• Netlify — site hosting.
• Render — hosting for the data interface.
• Flashscore, TheSportsDB and Wikimedia — team crests and competition logos are not hosted by us: your browser loads them directly from these third parties, which therefore receive your IP address. Most crests come from Flashscore, and the competition logos from Wikimedia.
• YouTube — only if you open the presentation video. The player is in no-cookie mode and is not loaded until you press play.

Fonts are self-hosted, so opening the site sends no request to Google.

How long we keep it

Account data and saved slips are kept while you keep the account. You can delete your account yourself, from the profile tab inside the app: this removes the account, the saved slips and the profile picture immediately and cannot be undone.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing, by writing to info@progettoolanda.it. Erasure is also available directly in the app, as described above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Minors

The site publishes statistics and estimates about football matches and is not intended for anyone under 18. No bets are taken or handled on this site.
